The Importance of Partnership

Highlighting: The Arizona Pet Project & The Boys and Girls Club

Watch UMOM C.E.O Jackson Fonder and C.O.O Monique Lopez sit down with Leanna Taylor (C.E.O of The Arizona Pet Project) and Marcia Mintz (C.E.O of the Boys and Girls Club of the Valley) to discuss how leveraging community partnerships enhances programming for our families here on campus.

While temps are rising outside, we’re keeping it cool for kids on campus at our on-site Boys & Girls Club!

Our priority is to build a strong foundation for our youth, offering opportunities and setting expectations, while also creating a fun and supportive atmosphere. With your help, we can continue to provide quality services and help our children find academic success, develop good character, and create healthier lifestyles this summer.

Will you help us fund this vital programming?

In a generous collaboration, Coca-Cola stepped up to support Johnson's efforts by donating an impressive 10,000 Dasani water bottles. These bottles will be distributed to the residents of UMOM New Day Centers, ensuring they have access to clean, refreshing water during the scorching summer months.

Arizona Cardinal's’ offensive tackle Paris Johnson Jr. recently hosted his second annual Summer Water Drive to benefit the residents of UMOM New Day Centers. This remarkable initiative not only brought much-needed relief to those in need but also created a fun-filled day for families.

The event wasn't just about distributing water; it was a community celebration. Cardinals' cheerleaders and Tillman Scholars from the Pat Tillman Foundation joined forces to make the day memorable.

Paris Johnson Jr.'s Summer Water Drive is a shining example of how sports figures can make a significant impact off the field. By partnering with Coca-Cola and engaging the community, Johnson has not only provided essential resources but also brought joy and hope to many.

Cheers to the red, white, and blue!

As we reflect on the celebration of Independence Day, we are reminded of the resilience and determination of our country and our people. At UMOM, we see this day as not just a national holiday, but also a reminder of our mission to restore hope and rebuild lives. As an organization dedicated to ending homelessness and providing supportive services to those in need, we understand the importance of independence and self-sufficiency. Through our various programs and services, we strive to empower individuals and families to overcome challenges and achieve sustainable independence. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to create a better future for themselves and their loved ones, regardless of their past circumstances. Let us continue to come together as a community and support one another in our efforts to restore hope and rebuild lives.
