Celebrating Pride Month!
At UMOM, we are proud to celebrate Pride Month and recognize the diversity and inclusivity that makes our community so vibrant. This year, we want to take a moment to celebrate our staff, current residents, and community members who identify as LGBTQ+. We honor and support their courage, strength, and resilience in being their authentic selves. As an organization dedicated to providing shelter and support to families experiencing homelessness, we are committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all. We are grateful for the diversity within our community and are honored to celebrate Pride Month with all of our LGBTQ+ staff, residents, and community members. Let's continue to spread love and acceptance as we celebrate Pride Month together!

Happy Father’s Day!
As we celebrate Father's Day, UMOM would like to extend a heartfelt wish to all of our staff, residents, and members of the community who hold the title of father. We recognize the immense importance of fathers and father figures in our lives, and we applaud the love, guidance, and support they provide. From teaching us how to ride a bike to being a shoulder to cry on, fathers play an integral role in shaping who we become. Today, let's take a moment to celebrate all the amazing dads out there, and thank them for their countless sacrifices and unwavering love. Happy Father's Day!

Celebrating Freedom for All
As we celebrate Juneteenth, we reflect on the journey toward freedom and equality for all, including how the wealth gap and housing discrimination disproportionately burden communities of color. For six decades, your support has fueled UMOM in addressing these disparities for countless single women and families. Together, let’s continue striving for a world where every person can experience a safe and stable place to call home. Happy Juneteenth!
