Breaking Ground Soon: Bret Tarver Terrace
A key part of ending homelessness in our community is ensuring there is enough inventory of affordable housing to meet the needs of our local population.
We're excited to break ground for Bret Tarver Terrace, a new Affordable Housing Community, this summer.
This project, developed by UMOM's Helping Hands Housing Services, will offer 96 units and a wide range of support services. Maricopa County approved $6 million in ARPA funding for the construction of our latest affordable housing community. Leasing is expected to start in January 2025.
ConGRADulations!
Help us celebrate Diamond, who recently graduated from high school and successfully exited from shelter at the Halle Women’s Center. Read her story.
Summer is always a lively time on campus. On June 6th, our programs team held a small celebration for students on campus celebrating milestone graduations from Kindergarten, 8th grade & high school.
Spotlight on Boys & Girls Club
Our onsite Boys & Girls Club is running full speed ahead with programming to keep kids on campus busy and cool while school is out.
Did you know…? Every on-campus member of Boys & Girls Club leaves UMOM with a year of free membership to their nearest club?
We are so grateful for the positive influence and fun offered at B&G Club.
Cardinals on Campus!
Cardinals rookie players made a big impact on campus during a visit on June 20th! In partnership with Valley of the Sun United way, they donated 1,000 hygiene kits to UMOM families. They also took time to meet some of their biggest future fans while they were here!
Save the Date for Buckles & Bangles 2023
We hope you’ll join us under the stars on the evening of Friday, October 13th at Copper Canyon at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. Sponsorships and tables available to purchase now at umom.org/gala.
Though the need is great, every dollar donated is making a difference in our community. Your support restores hope, rebuilds lives, and ends homelessness. Thank you!
