Appreciating You and UMOM’s Employees

Dear Friends,

March is a month of many celebrations, not the least of which is Employee Appreciation Day. You may recall that I talk about UMOM’s staff often, and I want to take this moment to do that yet again.

UMOM serves thousands of people each year: moms, dads, kids and single women. They meet one-on-one with case managers who care, listen and craft strategies and align services tailored to each member of the family – all to help them find good jobs and a permanent place to live. The workforce development team helps with every phase of a job search, including teaching adults how to write resumes, apply for jobs and interview. The shelter staff – those who handle the front desk, prepare the meals, handle maintenance and help clients with everyday needs and campus safety, as well as those who work in administration – all are important to keeping the shelters open and operating.

Because of our dedicated staff at UMOM and the support of people in the community like you, UMOM is the largest family emergency shelter in Arizona. I’m proud of UMOM’s employees and thankful for your partnership.
