Have you ever asked yourself “What can I do to help end homelessness in my community?” Not enough time? Don’t know how to show your support or where to get involved? Well, we’ve got a perfect, low pressure and FUN opportunity for you to get out, get active, and help make a difference!
In September, UMOM will host its 11th Annual Walk the Walk to End Homelessness, in partnership with the Women’s Auxiliary. Our goal is to raise awareness and funds for the families, single women, and youth experiencing homelessness in Arizona.
UMOM helps to restore hope and rebuild lives, right here in our local community.
This fun, family friendly event is a great way to help fight homelessness here in Phoenix, and all over Arizona.
Date: September 21st, 2019
Location: Phoenix Zoo – 455 N. Galvin Pkwy.
Start Time: 6:00 am
Fun Fact: in 2018, we broke the Guinness World Record for the most people participating in a 1K event in flip-flops. Help us do it again this year!
Register as an individual or create a team – beat the heat with “early bird” pricing from now through September 9th! Plus, with registration, all participants have all-day access to the Phoenix Zoo.
Not someone who likes early morning exercise routines? You can still get involved as a volunteer, sponsor, or donor.
We’ll see you out there!
