OUR COMMUNITY RELIES ON YOUR COMPASSION

Our local nonprofit community is already reporting significant losses in critical funding due to the cancellation of fundraising events and decreased staff/volunteer capacity amid recent COVID-19 health concerns. The need, however, is still great. With over 130 families on our shelter waitlist, we know there are many members of our community who are experiencing homelessness and are in dire need of help.

Each day, UMOM shelters more than 800 individuals- approximately 135 families, 130 single women at Halle Women’s Center, and 60 at our youth shelter sites. These families, single women, and youth are facing the same fears that we may be feeling at this time, but they do not have the comfort or ability to prepare and purchase goods as most of us do.

We need your help to continue providing protection and provisions as the emergency shelter waitlist grows daily while the number of volunteers and resources continues to decrease.

Your gift truly makes a difference in the lives of families, single women and youth in our community who need it most. We are genuinely grateful for your support as we continue our mission to ending homelessness.
