Emergency Shelter
Our philosophy is: Housing First. Get the family or individual into shelter, then work on the barriers – unemployment, substance abuse, medical conditions, violence – that caused them to experience homelessness.
Job training, education, childcare, healthcare, treatment and more. These are the services that help families, women and youth build a strong foundation with positive effects that last for generations.
Most Americans spend more than 50% of their monthly income on housing. Extremely low income families spend nearly 75%. We use techniques like Rapid Re-Housing to move people into homes they can afford for the long term.
