This month, decisions are being made in our State's legislature that will impact our society's most vulnerable men, women and children.  More than ever, we need your help!

Final budget decisions for 2010 are still in process.  We have to effectively communicate to the Governor and the Legislature that further budget cuts are unacceptable.  They must understand that the consequence of eliminating homeless prevention programs and homeless services will be increased demand on hospital emergency room and jails as well as irreparable damage to homeless youth that will come back to haunt our communities for generations to come.

Please don't cut the homeless and domestic violence line items in the DES budget!
