Arizona Gives Day Results

THANK YOU, TO ALL OF YOU!

Because of your generosity, UMOM will continue to be there for more families who are facing homelessness!

We want to thank you for supporting UMOM this year for #ArizonaGivesDay. Thanks to all of you, we raised an incredible $92,358, every dollar of which goes towards getting families off the waitlist and into emergency shelter. We also want to give a VERY special thank you to Desert Southwest United Methodist Foundation, The Carmody Foundation and 2 others who chose to remain anonymous for their dollar-for-dollar matching, doubling impact!

Our commitment remains steadfast in providing essential services such as emergency shelter, meals, job assistance, counseling, medical support, and housing aid. These vital resources empower families to access the necessary support for securing stable housing, establishing a reliable income, and embarking on the journey to rebuild their lives.

Thank you for making a difference and for being a part of our mission to end family homelessness.

We could not have done it without you! 💜

Time flies when you're making big changes!

Our renovations at UMOM have been going strong for a month now and we can’t wait to see the final results! These new computer labs and large family rooms will soon be ready to serve our amazing clients. Exciting things are happening on campus!

Want to learn more about these exciting changes? Schedule a tour and see first-hand how they directly impact our clients:

The Arizona Pet Project Partnership

UMOM New Day Centers CEO Jackson Fonder and The Arizona Pet Project CEO Leanna Taylor discuss partnership on Fox 10 Phoenix

Did you catch our CEO, Jackson Fonder, on FOX 10 Phoenix?

UMOM has partnered with The Arizona Pet Project to provide on-site care and services to pets on campus! On any given day, as many as 250 dogs and cats may live on site at one of UMOM’s facilities. Through this partnership, The Arizona Pet Project will dedicate a helper stationed on UMOM's campus to provide support for families with pets. The partnership will also work towards building training tools, improving outdoor dog-friendly spaces, and providing veterinary care, pet food, and supplies!

We are so thankful to have The Arizona Pet Project on our campus!

UMOM In The Community

UMOM is so grateful for Thunderbirds Charities and for their amazing partnership over the last 28 years.

Most recently, we were honored to have Thunderbirds Charities on campus at UMOM’s Family Emergency Shelter to receive their $250,000 gift as we renovate our campus to include larger family shelter units that can house up to nine family members!
